"A primary interest is the notion of chaos, with a particular focus on wilderness as a symbol system within the Hebrew Bible. This interest also plays itself out in relation to chaos and complexity theory in modern science. I have just completed a team authored article on reading the Bible in a global and multicultural context, looking at methodology and pedagogical issues."
