"My
goal is to help people raise implicit beliefs to the
explicit level so lives and convictions are in harmony. I'm
particularly interested in the interplay between theology
and culture, and teh dynamic of doctrinal change and
continuity. This leads me to explore such areas as gender,
film, and psychotherapeutic paradigm, addiction, and
community, all from the perspective of systematic and
constructive theology. I believe that theology must be
practical, relevant and resulting in doxology. As an
ordained Presbyterian minister, all I do relates to the real
life of the church in the world.."
