International students are required to complete the Test
of English as a Foreign Language. MTSO’s TOEFL score
requirement is 85 for the Internet test, 223 for the
computer-based test or 563 for the paper-based test.
Scores must be sent directly from the reporting agency to
Methodist Theological School in Ohio (Institution Code
1540).
Scholarships are available for qualified
international students.
If you are looking for a quality
theological education in a setting
with the best of small-town and
big-city American life, you’ll want
to seriously consider MTSO. Our
spacious, 70-acre
(283,000-square-meter) campus offers
a beautifully tranquil setting on a
wooded hillside. Yet downtown
Columbus, The Ohio State University
and Port Columbus International
Airport all are within a 30-minute
drive. One more thing to consider:
International students are often
pleasantly surprised by the low cost
of living at MTSO compared to other
U.S. seminaries.
We look forward to talking with you.
