A student can expect a response from support within 2 business days. The response time could be longer during school breaks and holidays. Although we gladly receive all calls, the quickest way to reach us is by email.
Login FAQ
HELP! I forgot how to log in to . . .
SharePoint: Web mail and SharePoint use the same login information. Those who have trouble typically have forgotten to add the domain prefix methesco\ to their username. So if your name is Ben Franklin, your login will be methesco\bfranklin. Passwords are CASE sensitive, so if you are entering your student ID, you must use all caps. If you have tried more than three incorrect logins, you must wait 30 minutes for a security reset.
Web Mail: Web mail and SharePoint use the same login information. The username will always be the first letter of your first name followed by your last name. So Ben Franklin would log in to web mail as bfranklin. The password will either be your student ID or whatever you may have chosen. Passwords are CASE sensitive, so if you are entering your student ID, you must use all caps. (For info on changing your password read the Web Mail Instructions in the upper right column of this page.) If you have forgotten your password, you can contact support to reset your password to your student ID. If you have tried more than three incorrect logins, you must wait 30 minutes for a security reset.
Student Portal: The student portal account is created by you, the student, in your first semester. You have the option to give any username/password combination you chose. If you forget your password, you can click the "forgot my password' link at the bottom of the portal login page and you will be asked a security question that you have chosen. The student portal page does not offer help for forgotten usernames. Therefore, it is important that you KEEP RECORD OF YOUR PORTAL USERNAME! Support cannot reset your portal username, only your password.
****Support can reset your password at any of the gateways to your student ID. Your student ID is located on the student portal under My Profile-> My Information. It is the first number in the upper right column.
