Theological Education Discernment Retreat
An informative and meaningful day on the MTSO campus
With grant support from the Forum for Theological Exploration, MTSO invites individuals ages 18 and up to a May 11 discernment retreat offering opportunities to learn about the relevance of theological education in today’s world.
This free full-day retreat begins with continental breakfast from 8 to 9 a.m., on the beautiful hillside campus of MTSO, located just north of Columbus in central Ohio.
Our day together includes opportunities for guided discernment and spiritual practices on a campus committed to a just, generative and sustainable world. MTSO faculty, staff and students will be on hand to share their insights and answer questions. We'll gather for lunch and dinner featuring food grown on MTSO's Seminary Hill Farm.
For those who wish to arrive the evening before the event, we offer optional early arrival Tuesday, May 10, between 5 and 8 p.m., with free campus accommodations and some activities.
