Governance

MTSO is committed to engaging many stakeholders, led by its Board of Trustees, an elected panel legally responsible for and personally dedicated to the well-being of the school.

The board has 42 seats and includes bishops, clergy and lay representatives from the East Ohio and West Ohio conferences of the United Methodist Church; representatives of United Methodist conferences in neighboring states; at-large members, including members of non-United Methodist denominations; representatives of the MTSO faculty and student body; and the president of the school.
