The library is often called the heart of an academic community, and the central role of MTSO’s library is quite evident.
The John W. Dickhaut Library, named for MTSO’s founding president, is the school’s primary information and research resource. With more than 130,000 volumes onsite, the library offers borrowers access to 48 million volumes thanks to its membership in the Ohio Private Academic Libraries and OhioLINK consortia. It also provides access to roughly 30,000 online and print journals.
The primary mission of the library is to support the information needs of students, faculty and staff. Other individuals, including alumni, local clergy, and students and researchers at other theological institutions, also may apply for borrowing privileges.
Members of the library staff are always ready to assist with your research and to do all we can to facilitate the teaching and learning process at MTSO.
