SIXTY-THIRD COMMENCEMENT

Congratulations, class of 2025

MTSO celebrated its commencement May 17, awarding degrees in five master’s programs – including, for the first time, the MA in Public Theology – and the Doctor of Ministry.

Bishop Hee-Soo Jung of the Ohio Episcopal Area of the United Methodist Church addressed the graduates, telling them, “The journey is going to be deep and wide, but remember, your community, your family, your teachers and your colleagues will be behind you.”

In parting words to the class, MTSO President Jay Rundell said, “You came here with some things on your mind, no doubt. Some questions. I hope we answered some of the questions. I hope we left some unanswered. I know you created some questions in us. You have added to this place. You have made us more of who we need to be.”
