MTSO celebrates those being ordained and commissioned

Methodist Theological School in Ohio recognizes and congratulates its alumni and students who are being ordained and commissioned this year. The list below begins with conferences of the United Methodist Church, followed by additional denominations.

Detroit

Marva Pope is being commissioned as elder.

The following are being ordained as elders:

Elizabeth Hill has been appointed superintendent of the Blue Water District.

East Ohio

The following are being commissioned as elders:

Jacob Reedy is being ordained as elder, serving Middlebrook Pike UMC in Knoxville, Tenn.

Indiana

John Huff is being ordained as elder, serving at Brook UMC in Brook, Ind.

West Ohio

United Church of Christ

Whitney L. Prose Bruno is currently locally licensed and called to St. Michael's United Church of Christ in Baltimore, Ohio, and working towards ordination, planned for the fall of 2015.

Methodist Theological School in Ohio prepares leaders of many faith traditions for lives of lasting significance in service to the church and the world. In addition to the Master of Divinity degree, the school offers master's degrees in counseling ministries, theological studies and practical theology, along with a Doctor of Ministry degree.
