Scholarships for New Students

MTSO offers a remarkable number of premier scholarships. One in three MTSO students has received a full-tuition scholarship.

We’re pleased to offer these scholarships each year to full-time master’s students demonstrating the academic and personal qualifications identified by the donors whose generosity has made this assistance possible. As a scholarship applicant, you will be evaluated based on your academic achievement (an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher is required), leadership in the church and community, and potential for ministry.

Among our premier scholarships:

  • The Harding Scholarships: Full tuition plus $10,000 annual stipend.
  • The Alford Scholarships: Full tuition plus $2,000 annual stipend.

All of our full- and partial-tuition scholarships share a single application form. The priority deadline for Fall applicants is Jan. 17, and those currently applying for admission in Fall 2017 are strongly encouraged to submit a scholarship application with their admissions application.
