Scholarships for New Students

What if seminary were free? It's not an impossible dream. One in three MTSO students has received a full-tuition scholarship, some with additional stipends. Among all of our full-time master's students, the average non-loan aid award is $9,900 per year.

Among our premier scholarships:

  • The Harding Scholarships: Full tuition plus $10,000 annual stipend.
  • The Alford Scholarships: Full tuition plus $2,000 annual stipend.

As a scholarship applicant, you will be evaluated based on your academic achievement (an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher is required), leadership in the church and community, and potential for ministry.

Along with the potential award of full tuition, you'll have a chance to meet the people who will prepare for ministry alongside you. Lifelong friendships will begin during these two days.
